Seattle Rock n' Roll Weekend Part 1

Wow, where to begin? It was a busy, FUN weekend! Thursday I spent frantically cleaning in preparation for my in-laws coming to babysit. There is something so discouraging about cleaning for hours, then having your mother-in-law walk in and pick up a piece of lint from under the couch. *sigh* I was so ready to leave town!

We left Friday at lunch time and drove to the expo. I have never been to such a big expo! I wanted to buy everything! Then my practical side kicked in, and I didn't buy anything. I did stuff my bag full of freebies though! I got to see Scott Jurek, but the line was too long to get his autograph. Oh well!

Then it was off to Pyramid Alehouse to meet up with a few bloggers from the Runners world Loop.

From there, off to the Spaghetti Factory for the Bloggy Carboload Dinner! It was so much fun to get to talk to everyone and put faces and voices to the blogs that I read! I ate too much, laughed a lot, and got really excited for race day.
Up to that point, I had still planned on just doing part of the race to protect my shin. I threw that out the window, and knew I was going to take it slow, but do my best to finish!
